Laboratory Glass-Ceramic Constant Temperature Heating Plate
Our laboratory heating plate features a stain-proof, rust-free glass-ceramic worktop that can be fully wiped clean with one simple swipe. The glass-ceramic material delivers outstanding resistance to strong acids and strong alkalis, so it will never corrode even during harsh sample pretreatment with highly corrosive reagents. At present, our factory is the only manufacturer on the market offering this exclusive anti-corrosion performance.
This laboratory hot plate is a constant-temperature device dedicated to heating pretreatment of various analytical samples. Equipped with a glass-ceramic working surface, it is rust-proof, easy to clean and highly resistant to acid and alkali, boasting a far longer service life than ordinary heating plates. Our lab hot plates manufactured with proprietary advanced technology have gained wide recognition from users across all industries, motivating us to build our own independent brand of high-performance lab heating equipment.

2. Core Product Advantages
- Glass-ceramic top surface withstands high temperature and never rusts. (Teflon-coated surfaces cannot sustain high temperatures; stainless steel tops resist heat but tend to rust easily.)
- High wear resistance and extended service life; ultra-smooth surface for effortless wiping and cleaning.
- Large-format heating surface supports batch processing of multiple samples at once.
- Split controller design keeps operators far away from acid fumes during operation for improved safety and convenient handling.
- Platinum resistance sensor delivers precise temperature regulation, fast heating and uniform heat distribution; maximum digestion temperature reaches 400℃.
- Large LCD screen for clear, intuitive real-time temperature readout.
- Overheat warning indicator: A prominent red alarm light activates when the plate surface exceeds 50℃ to prevent scald accidents and enhance operational safety.

3. Wide Application Sectors
- Environmental Monitoring: Wastewater, drinking water, sludge, mineral slurry, effluent discharge, soil testing
- Agriculture & Food Inspection: Milk powder, aquatic products, vegetables, fruits, tobacco, plant tissue, fertilizer analysis
- Product Quality Control: Cosmetics, general industrial products material testing
- Scientific Research: Laboratory analytical experiments, new project development & material research
- Center for Disease Control: Biological specimens, human hair heavy metal detection
4. Comparative Performance of Different Heating Top Materials
| Performance Item | Glass-Ceramic Top | Stainless Steel Top | Ceramic Coated Top | Teflon Coated Top |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Max Working Temp | 400℃ | 400℃ | 300℃ | 250℃ |
| Anti-Corrosion & Rust Resistance | Zero rust, fully acid & alkali resistant | Prone to rust over time | Rusts once coating abrades | Rusts once coating abrades |
| Ease of Cleaning | Wipe clean in one swipe | Hard to clean residue | Difficult to wipe clean | Hard to clean residue |

5. Difference Between Integrated & Split Laboratory Heating Plates
The constant-temperature electric hot plate is standard lab heating equipment, featuring easy operation, uniform heat dissipation and robust durable construction. All heating wires are fully concealed inside the housing with no exposed metal, making it suitable for heating and thermal holding of samples that cannot be exposed to open flame.
Main components: outer cabinet, microcrystalline glass heating surface, ceramic fiber heating base, high-temperature nichrome heating wire, and temperature control unit.
Two cabinet options: full stainless steel shell, or stamped high-quality carbon steel shell with electrostatic plastic-sprayed surface finish. Equipped with intelligent digital display thermostat for accurate, reliable temperature regulation.
Lab hot plates are divided into digital display type and gear adjustment type. Digital models are available in split and integrated versions:
• Split type: Separate standalone control console that can be placed remotely away from the heating main unit.
• Integrated type: Control panel built into the bottom of the heating cabinet.
Both versions deliver convenient operation; customers may select according to actual laboratory layout and usage requirements.
