Injection Mold & Core Preheating
Suitable for preheating precision injection molds and silicone molds. Cold mold preheating stabilizes injection temperature and eliminates defects such as material shortage, shrinkage and stress whitening. Low-temperature heating softens silicone molds for smooth demolding without product breakage or missing corners, improving yield and demolding efficiency.
Case 1: Preheating for Small Precision Injection Molds
Application Scenario:
Cold mold production of precision plastic parts leads to material shortage, shrinkage, stress whitening and deformation defects with low first-pass yield.
Practical Solution:
Preheat small precision mold cores at 100–140℃ to stabilize the overall mold temperature. The temperature matches the injection process after mounting, ensuring full product filling without shrinkage or stress defects and achieving qualified first-piece products after startup.
Case 2: Heating Softening for Silicone Mold Demolding
Application Scenario:
Cooled silicone replica molds for handcrafts harden and cause product adhesion and jamming. Forcible demolding easily leads to model breakage, missing corners and deformation.
Practical Solution:
Heat the silicone mold gently at a low temperature of 50℃ to soften the silicone and improve toughness, reducing adhesion between mold and product. Smooth demolding ensures intact models without breakage or deformation, greatly improving the yield of replica products.
