Lead-Free Constant Temperature Preheating Platform
This dual-zone preheat and reflow platform features independent temperature control for each zone. It is widely used for preheating various circuit boards and soldering LED lamp bases. Equipped with dual digital displays, the temperature can be freely set from ambient temperature up to 400°C. The heating plate is made of high-grade imported aluminum alloy with high density, excellent thermal conductivity and uniform temperature distribution. Adopting intelligent microcomputer PID chip, it supports one-click auto-tuning and data saving, phase-shift trigger control for stable temperature and energy saving. The high-efficiency infrared heating element can operate continuously under high temperature conditions.
1. Performance Features
- ET series lead-free preheating platform is fitted with high-power heating core, which melts lead-free solder bars rapidly. It takes about 25 minutes to heat up from room temperature to 450°C (slight differences exist depending on equipment size).
- Intelligent microcomputer chip control with dual digital displays for clear reading. It features high thermal sensitivity, fast temperature recovery and quick temperature compensation.
- The lead-free solder pot is manufactured with imported titanium material, featuring high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and long service life.
- Touch keys for direct parameter setting, simple operation and high accuracy.
- All set parameters can be stored permanently without being affected by power off or restart.

3. Operation & Function Setting
3.1 Temperature Setting
- Turn on the power switch. The panel displays measured temperature and set temperature. Press + / – key to adjust value: single press for 1 unit change, long press for continuous adjustment. The settings will be automatically saved after 2 seconds, retaining data after power cycle.
- Press the shift key (*) to select digits. Adjust the selected digit via + / – key. All settings will be saved automatically after 2 seconds.
3.2 Microcomputer Auto-Tuning
Perform auto-tuning when the deviation between measured value and set value is 3~5°C, or the deviation between displayed temperature and actual internal temperature is 10~20°C.
- Hold down the shift key (*) for 3 seconds to start auto-tuning. The screen will flash alternately with “AT” and set temperature. The whole process takes 20~40 minutes.
- To exit auto-tuning in advance, hold the shift key (*) until flashing stops.
- Factory parameters are optimized, auto-tuning is generally unnecessary.
3.3 Temperature Deviation Compensation
If temperature deviation still exists after auto-tuning, follow the steps below for calibration:
- Hold the CAL key for 2 seconds, the screen shows “5c” and compensation value. Adjust value via + / – key. Press CAL twice to save and exit.
Example: If displayed temperature is 10°C higher than actual value, set compensation to -10; if 10°C lower, set to +10.
- Restore factory settings: Hold CAL for 2s → display “5c 0.0” → press CAL to show “Loc c” → press CAL again to return to normal interface. “5c” stands for compensation value; “Loc” stands for lock/unlock status.
3.4 Notes for Setting
- Do not adjust other parameters during auto-tuning.
- Auto-tuning takes 20~40 minutes, plus another 10~20 minutes for temperature stabilization. Fluctuating temperature during this period is normal.

4. Fault Detection
- No power after startup: Check fuse and power socket connection.
- Temperature reading unchanged and no heating: Heating element is broken.
- Left display shows extremely high temperature, right display flashes HIA/ORA: Thermocouple open circuit or temperature controller failure.
5. Usage & Safety Precautions
- Place the equipment on a stable and heat-resistant workbench during operation to prevent molten solder splashing. The solder pot and whole unit stay at high temperature, please operate carefully to avoid scalds.
- Do not run the solder pot empty for the first use, which will accelerate solder oxidation. Put solid or molten solder inside for heat conduction.
- Lead-free preheating platform must be placed separately from leaded equipment and lead-containing articles to avoid lead contamination. Our company shall not be liable for defective products caused by lead pollution.
- Prohibit use near flammable gas and combustible materials.
- Cut off power supply and cool down to room temperature before moving the equipment.
- Always turn off the power when the equipment is not in use to prevent accidents.
- Continuous working time shall not exceed 12 hours for safety and longer service life.
- Must connect to power supply with reliable ground wire. Never connect ground wire to neutral wire.
- The liner is made of imported Japanese titanium material. Golden or blue discoloration on surface after long-time high-temperature heating is a normal material characteristic.
- Product quality guarantee is only valid when all spare parts are original accessories of our brand.
- Warranty does not cover solder pot and heating element if used for processing strong corrosive substances such as acid, alkali and solder slag.
