II. Safety & Operating Notes
- DO NOT operate without liquid (dry heating).
- For safe use, please ground the device.
- The motor is fan-cooled. During high-temperature heating, the motor MUST be running (at low speed/idle) to prevent overheating damage. Damage caused by improper operation is not covered by warranty.
- After high-temperature heating, turn off heating first, wait for cooling, then turn off stirring.
- Heating surface is hot during operation; avoid contact to prevent burns.
- Dry the unit completely if wet, spilled, or used in high humidity to avoid electric shock.
- Store in dry, non-corrosive environment when not in use for long periods.
- Ground the device if induced current occurs in high humidity; ensure ventilation.
- Ambient humidity: 35%-85% (non-condensing).
- Fuse: Φ5×20 15A.
Specifications are subject to change without notice due to product improvements.
Operating Instructions
- Fix the support rod, clamp the flask, insert the stirring bar and sensor plug, connect to 220V power, and turn on the main switch.
- Temperature Setting: Press the heating switch. Press SET, SV value flashes. Adjust with < > ∨ ∧ keys. Press SET again to confirm. Green light = heating; off = stop.
- Speed Setting: Press the stir switch. Press SET to adjust r/min value, confirm with SET.
- Auto-Tuning (AT): Minimizes temperature overshoot and improves stability. Re-set after changing solution or conditions.
- Start AT: Hold < button for 8 seconds. AT light flashes. Hold again for 8s to stop.
- The unit exits setting mode automatically if no operation for 8 seconds.
- A rubber cap protects the external thermocouple socket. Remove it when using external sensor.
- Thermocouple break protection: If “”hhhh”” appears and green light off, check the thermocouple connection.
