4. Application Range of High-Power Heating Plates

Digital constant temperature sample platforms and heating plates are widely used for sample baking, drying and various thermal testing, serving as essential equipment for biology, genetics, biochemistry labs, analytical rooms and educational scientific research. They are also extensively installed on extruders, injection molding machines, vulcanizers, hydraulic presses, ultrasonic cleaning machines, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, cable machinery, petroleum processing equipment and more.

5. Operation & Maintenance Instructions for Large Heating Plates

  1. Wipe the working surface thoroughly before use; no water droplets, dust, sediment or foreign residues are allowed on the surface.
  2. Place sample bottles or other lab containers on the heating surface.
  3. Switch on power supply, flip the power switch. Press the SET key to enter temperature setting mode when digital tubes flash. Press the △ key to increase set value and the ▽ key to decrease it; hold the keys for fast value adjustment. Press SET again to confirm and return to normal operating mode.
  4. The heating plate must be supervised by dedicated personnel during operation.
  5. Turn off the power switch and cut off power supply after finishing work.

6. Critical Safety Notes for Large Heating Plates

  1. Operating voltage shall not exceed 110% of rated voltage.
  2. Wiring terminals must be arranged outside heating and insulation layers, and the equipment housing shall be reliably grounded.
  3. Store cast aluminum heaters in dry environments. If insulation resistance drops below 1 MΩ after long-term storage, bake the heater in an oven at around 200℃ for 5–6 hours to restore insulation performance.
  4. Secure the heater with proper positioning fixtures to ensure full tight contact between effective heating zone and workpiece; dry firing without load is strictly prohibited. Immediately remove surface dust and contaminants before reuse to avoid poor heat dissipation and shortened service life.
