Mold Cast Aluminum Heating Plate
1. Product Principle & Classification
Mold heating plates take tubular electric heating elements as heat sources. The heating tubes are bent into custom shapes and cast with molten aluminum inside molds to form finished products. They can be closely attached to heated workpieces, featuring uniform heat output, excellent thermal conductivity and long service life.
Available series: heating coils, air-cooled heating coils (with internal & external air grooves), water-cooled heating coils (equipped with water pipes, flat plates, right-angle plates).
2. Performance Advantages & Application Scope
A thermal insulation layer can be added to the heater outer surface upon customer request to improve thermal efficiency and reduce power consumption by around 20%. Our cast aluminum heaters support a maximum operating temperature of 400℃, with even heat distribution, smooth casting surfaces free of pores and casting defects.
Widely applied to plastic machinery, mold heads, drying ovens, cable machinery, electric water heaters, chemical equipment, rubber machinery, petroleum pipelines, mold temperature controller oil heating and other thermal devices.
Applicable Plastic Equipment: Injection molding machines, granulators, extruders, wire drawing machines, film blowing machines, film coating machines
3. Operation Guidelines
- The operating voltage shall not exceed 110% of the rated voltage.
- All wiring terminals shall be placed outside heating and insulation layers; the equipment housing must be reliably grounded.
- Cast aluminum heating coils shall be stored in dry environments. If the insulation resistance drops below 1MΩ after long-term storage, bake the coil in an oven at about 200℃ for 5-6 hours to restore insulation performance.

4. Order Requirements & Standard Technical Index
- Customers shall provide product drawings or samples. If drawings/samples are unavailable, specify complete specifications, model, voltage and power parameters.
- Standard surface load of cast aluminum electric heaters: 2.5 ~ 4.0 W/cm²
5. Required Information for Custom Production
- 1. Mechanical drawings or sketches (preferred)
- 2. Diameter: inner diameter or outer dimension for installation (unit: mm)
- 3. Width (mm)
- 4. Rated voltage & power
- 5. Lead wire type, length and outlet position
- 6. Position & dimension of thermocouple holes / cutouts
- 7. Single-piece or two-piece split structure
- 8. Special clearance width requirements
- 9. Laser marking content (if marking on housing required)
- 10. Order quantity
- 11. Required delivery lead time
