Metal Cast Heating Plate
Metal heating plate uses tubular heating elements as heat source. After bending forming, the heating tubes are placed into molds and cast with molten aluminum to form finished products of various shapes. It can closely fit heated workpieces, featuring uniform heat distribution, excellent thermal conductivity and long service life. It is an ideal heating device widely recognized at home and abroad.
A thermal insulation layer can be added on the outer surface upon customer request to raise thermal efficiency and save around 20% electricity. Main applications include plastic machinery, drying ovens, water boilers, pipelines and heating of non-corrosive liquids.
1. Technical Parameters
- Operating environment: Ambient temperature -20℃ ~ +60℃; relative humidity below 80%
- Dielectric strength: Withstand 1500V, 50Hz AC sine wave withstand voltage test for 1 minute without breakdown
- Leakage current: Less than 0.5mA
- Insulation resistance: Greater than 2MΩ
- Grounding resistance: Less than 0.1Ω
- Power tolerance: +5% ~ -10%
- Temperature resistance: Surface temperature can reach nearly 400℃ when installed on equipment
2. Application Scope
- Widely matched with plastic machinery, molds, cable machinery, alloy die-casting machines, pipelines, chemical, rubber and petroleum industrial equipment
- Cast aluminum heating plate features long service life, good thermal insulation, high mechanical strength, corrosion resistance and anti-magnetic property. Explosion-proof heater marks: ExdⅡBT4, ExdⅡBT6, ExdeⅡCT6, etc.

3. Performance Characteristics
- Surface load up to 2.5–4.5 W/cm², maximum working temperature 300–450℃
- High-efficiency uniform heater with excellent thermal conductivity to eliminate hot and cold spots. Long service life, good heat preservation, strong mechanical performance, corrosion & magnetic interference resistant. Adding outer insulation and far-infrared sintered inner coating can save about 35% power consumption.
4. Operation Instructions
- Store in dry place. If insulation resistance drops below 1MΩ after long storage, bake in an oven at around 200℃ for 5–6 hours to recover insulation performance
- Operating voltage shall not exceed 110% of rated voltage
- Wiring terminals shall be placed outside heating & insulation layers; equipment housing must be reliably grounded

5. Safety Precautions
- Fix and position the cast aluminum heater firmly; effective heating surface must fully contact the workpiece. Dry burning is strictly forbidden. Clean dust and contaminants on surface immediately to avoid poor heat dissipation and shortened service life
- Magnesium oxide powder at heating tube outlet shall be protected from water and pollutants to prevent electric leakage
- Terminals outside heat/insulation layers, reliable grounding required; avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media and water. Lead wires shall withstand long-term terminal temperature and heating load; do not over-tighten wiring screws
- Long-term storage with insulation resistance below 1MΩ: bake at 200℃ for 5–6 hours or apply reduced voltage heating to recover insulation
- Voltage ≤ 110% rated value, relative air humidity ≤95%, no explosive or corrosive gas in environment
- Cleaning: Use common industrial detergent and water. For thick solid residues, polish gently with fine sandpaper
