LED Bead Welding & Rework Case Studies
Mainly used for LED aluminum substrate bead replacement and COB high-power light source module maintenance. The platform realizes overall uniform preheating of the board with precise temperature control, avoiding ceramic substrate cracking and LED dead beads, optimizing welding quality, and meeting single replacement and batch rework requirements.

Case 1: Patch Welding & Repair of LED Boards
Application Scenario:
LED strips and panel lights have burnt beads, virtual welding and dead lights. Manual cold welding often causes insufficient solder joints, virtual welding and desoldering.
Practical Solution:
Adjust the heating platform to a constant 180℃, lay the aluminum substrate flat for overall preheating to fully melt the residual solder paste on the pads. Remove damaged beads with tweezers and mount new beads quickly. Stable constant temperature ensures full and round solder joints, eliminating virtual welding and desoldering problems.

Case 2: Rework of COB High-Power Light Source Modules
Application Scenario:
COB integrated light sources of floodlights and industrial lamps have desoldering and intermittent dead light faults. Ceramic substrates are fragile and prone to cracking under sudden high temperature heating.
Practical Solution:
Adopt a medium and large heating platform with stepwise temperature rise from 150℃ to 200℃ to ensure uniform heating of the COB module and prevent ceramic substrate cracking caused by temperature difference. It ensures stable light sources during batch rework without secondary dead lights or desoldering.
