Product Overview
The digestion hot plate is specially designed for laboratory sample digestion, acid removal and heating treatment. It features fast temperature rise, high temperature control accuracy of ±1℃, large heating area, acid & alkali resistance, high temperature resistance and long service life. It supports batch sample heating and digestion efficiently.
With advantages of rapid heating, uniform temperature, corrosion resistance, easy cleaning and simple operation, it is an ideal lab instrument for evaporation, drying, concentration and constant temperature heating. Widely used in food, pharmaceutical, agriculture, forestry, environmental protection, CDC, chemical, biochemistry, universities and research institutes for digestion of soil, feed, plants, seeds, ore, biological tissues and other samples.
Important Operation Precautions
- The working platform for the hot plate must be flat and heat-resistant.
- The plate surface and surrounding area become extremely hot during operation. Do not place any items nearby, especially flammable materials to avoid fire hazard. Operators should take precautions to prevent burns.
- To protect service life, continuous working time shall not exceed 12 hours under any temperature. When working above 300℃, continuous operation should be limited within 8 hours.
- Monitor temperature and status of samples regularly and adjust temperature timely. Overheating may damage samples or the hot plate itself.
- Never touch the heating plate until it fully cools down.
- Cut off power supply when the equipment is not in use to avoid safety accidents.
- Clean the heating plate thoroughly before storage.
- Unplug the power cord for long-term storage, store in dry environment and cover with plastic dust cover.
Maintenance Steps
- Power supply voltage must match the specification in user manual. The equipment housing must be reliably grounded.
- For high power operation, connect the equipment to a residual current circuit breaker or safety knife switch.
- Place in a well-ventilated room with relative humidity ≤85%. Keep flammable, explosive and corrosive substances away.
- Do not touch heating components during operation to avoid burns.
- Storage environment: -10℃ ~ +40℃, dry and cool. Avoid heavy impact, violent vibration and rain during transportation.
- Only use for non-volatile, non-flammable and non-explosive samples for baking, drying and temperature tests.
- After each use: turn energy switch to OFF, cut off power, wait for full cooling, then wipe and clean the heating plate.
- Unplug power plug for long idle time, store in dry area and cover with plastic dust cover.
